Rosuvastatin (Crestor) and atorvastatin (Lipitor) are statin medications used to lower cholesterol and reduce cardiovascular risk. Doctors On Site connects Ontario patients with licensed physicians who assess your cholesterol and risk factors and, where clinically appropriate, prescribe and monitor statin therapy.
Book a Physician Assessment →Statins are a class of prescription medications that lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol. Rosuvastatin and atorvastatin are high-intensity statins commonly used to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke, particularly in people with high cholesterol, diabetes, or established cardiovascular disease. They are taken as a daily tablet and are available in Ontario by prescription, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
Doctors On Site physicians commonly assess patients seen through our programs, including:

Lowering LDL reduces the risk of cardiovascular events for many patients.
